DLA Aviation intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 13.5. This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria. Description of requirements: Upgrade To California Heating Equipment Model MODEL: 10’ x 5’ x 3’ SOLUTION FURNACE/2092 Drop Bottom Furnace in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 25-40-1014. Performance period/completion 210 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Destination is Fleet Readiness Center Southwest, Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, CA. The complete technical data package VIBB 25-40-1014 including machine, training, technical data, IUID tag, gantry crane system, installation, and Shipping requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation.
